Direct trains run regularly from Aberdeen to Montrose, with the journey taking approximately 35–40 minutes. Services run roughly every 30 minutes throughout the day, making this one of the most convenient routes to the estate. From Montrose station, take a local taxi for the final stretch to Arbikie. Direct trains from Edinburgh Waverley to Montrose take around 1 hour 40 minutes, with frequent departures throughout the day. On arrival, local taxis from Montrose station will take you the rest of the way to the estate. Click here for directions.

Direct trains run from Glasgow Queen Street to Montrose, taking approximately 2 hours. Trains run regularly throughout the day. From Montrose, a short taxi ride will bring you to Arbikie Highland Estate. Click here for directions.

LNER operates direct trains from London King's Cross to Montrose, with the fastest journey taking around 6 hours 20 minutes. A handful of direct services run each day, making this a comfortable one-train journey straight up the East Coast Main Line. Alternatively, the Caledonian Sleeper offers an overnight option if you'd prefer to arrive refreshed in the morning. From Montrose station, local taxis are on hand for the final leg. Free on-site parking is available for all guests, along with electric vehicle charging points (£0.30 per kWh) - so whether you're arriving by EV or combustion vehicle, you're covered for the full retreat.

Arbikie Highland Estate is easily reached by road from Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, with the estate signposted near Lunan, just off the coast road south of Montrose.

The nearest petrol station is approximately 10 minutes' drive from the estate - we'd recommend topping up before you arrive if you're running low, as the surrounding area is rural farmland.
